Hi, I’m Ellie — a writer and digital strategist working in sustainability.

ABOUT ME

I'm a writer, producer and digital strategist working in the sustainability space. At the moment, I spend my days running the marketing program at award-winning timber recycling and furniture design studio Thor’s Hammer, writing a regular design column for sustainable architecture and design publication green magazine, and managing the multiple digital channels for green mag's mother company, Green Press. I also work as an on-call firefighter for Fire & Rescue NSW in the small village where I live, Bundanoon, and I hold a Diploma in Mindfulness and Compassion Teaching from the Insight Meditation Institute.

  • Authentic, relatable photography. Preferably shooting outside. Preferably doing something fun.

    Video production and direction. There's more to creating great video content than shooting and editing. As a writer and storyteller, I have a knack for finding a great story, and then developing and shaping it for the videography medium. I research, conceptualise and write for video production, and provide on-shoot guidance and direction.
